Hi, my name is Lauren Foster. Recently, I started a group called Grassroots for Donna – Baltimore in an effort to encourage people to find out more about Donna Edwards, a US Congresswoman who is running for Senate. I wanted to ask you if you could take a few minutes to read my blog on Donna and see if it might be something your members might also want to read. And even if you choose not to share it because it doesn’t fit the interests of your group, I hope you’ll just enjoy learning about a woman candidate.

Hi Jackie, I am writing about the squeegee kids, and I know you’ve written a lot about race and city life, even mentioning the city’s young window washers. Are you free for a phone interview to talk about any thoughts you might have on the subject? If so, what’s the best way to reach you? My email is ywenger@baltsun.com and my number is 410-332-6609. Thanks, Yvonne Wenger, reporter, The Baltimore Sun.
